Studio Policies

Please take a moment to read through the information below before booking your tattoo. These notes explain how the process works and help ensure each piece receives the time and care it deserves.

  • I work on a consultation-based booking system so each tattoo can be thoughtfully designed and carefully planned.

    Enquiry

Start by submitting an enquiry form with your idea, placement, approximate size, and any reference images.

    Consultation

If your project is a good fit for my style and current work, you will be invited to a consultation. This is usually done in person, although virtual consultations are available if travelling to the studio is not possible.

During the consultation we will discuss your idea in more detail, explore placement and scale, and talk through the overall direction of the design.

    SecuringYourTattooDate

Once you are happy to proceed, your tattoo session will be booked during the consultation. A 50% deposit is required to secure your appointment and allows me to begin designing your piece.

    DesignApprovalAppointment

In the week before your tattoo session we will meet again for a design approval appointment. This gives you the opportunity to see your finished design and make any adjustments so everything feels just right before tattoo day.

To protect my work and the integrity of the design process, designs are not sent out digitally.

    TattooDay

Appointments are typically scheduled for 6 hours including a short break. Minor adjustments can still be made on the day, but significant changes may require additional design time or another session.Description text goes here

  • A 50% deposit is required to secure your tattoo appointment.

Deposits are non-refundable, as they cover the time reserved for your appointment and the preparation involved in creating your design.

You may reschedule your appointment once with at least 48 hours notice. Further rescheduling may require a new deposit.

Appointments rescheduled with less than 48 hours notice may result in the loss of the deposit.

If I ever need to reschedule your appointment, you will be offered the next suitable date or a refund of your deposit. goes hA

    • The remaining balance

  • The studio currently has limited wheelchair access.

If you have any accessibility concerns or require additional support, please let me know before your appointment so I can provide the most up-to-date information and ensure you are as comfortable as possible.

  • Please let me know in advance if you have any medical conditions that may affect the tattoo process.

Unfortunately I cannot tattoo clients who are:

    • under the influence of drugs or alcohol

    • pregnant or breastfeeding

If you are unsure whether a medical condition may affect your tattoo, please contact me before booking.

  • To ensure the best possible tattoo and healing result:

    • Shower before your appointment

    • Eat a meal beforehand and bring snacks or sugary drinks

    • Moisturise the area in the week leading up to your tattoo

    • Avoid alcohol the evening before your appointment

    • Wear comfortable clothing that allows easy access to the tattoo area

Please avoid sun exposure, sunbeds and fake tan in the week before your appointment.

If you arrive with sunburn I will not be able to tattoo the area.

Please do not use numbing cream, as it can affect how the skin takes the tattoo and how the tattoo heals.

  • All tattoos include one complimentary touch-up within the first three months if required.

After this time, touch-ups are charged at my minimum rate.

Some areas of the body, particularly hands, fingers and feet, may require more than one touch-up due to the nature of the skin.

  • Your tattoo is an open wound and proper aftercare is essential for good healing and long-term results.

I will go through aftercare instructions with you in person at the end of your appointment and provide guidance on the best healing method for your tattoo.

If you have any concerns while healing, please contact me with photographs so I can advise you.

Signs of infection such as excessive redness, swelling, heat or pus should be assessed by a medical professional.

  • I may take photographs of completed tattoos for my portfolio, website or social media. These images help future clients understand my work and how tattoos heal over time.

Final Notes

Every tattoo is created individually and designed to flow with your body. Skin types vary and healing can differ from person to person, but my goal is always to create a piece you will love for many years to come.

Thank you for trusting me with your tattoo.
